Our
Liturgy
“This is my body which is given for you; do this in
remembrance of me.” Luke 22: 19
Our Divine Liturgy or Mass is
celebrated according to the Antiochene Syriac
(Aramaic) Maronite Church. The Mass prayers
are recited by the priest & congregation in English,
Arabic and Aramaic. Aramaic, the language
spoken by Jesus, is the mother language and the
liturgical language of the Maronite Catholic Church
and is widely used in our Divine Liturgy.
During the Maronite Divine Liturgy, the Consecration
and several other prayers are chanted in Aramaic. We
are proud of our rich Christian heritage and our Eastern

which Pope John XXIII described as “A Treasure
of the Catholic Church; a jewel in the crown of
Catholicism.” We invite you to attend our Divine
Liturgy and pray with us in Aramaic. You will see the
“jewel” sparkle and, like in Mel Gibson’s movie, "The
Passion of the Christ," you will feel the Gospel of Jesus
come to life. Everyone is welcome to our church.
